The scanner used has changed the colours slightly.
Monoprinting layered with tracing paper.
I have published this before, I think it could be my favourite. The use of monoprinting against the simple figures works well, something I may try again.
These images are the first two double pages, the characters have been left simple so they are easily recognizable throughout.
I tell a lie, i forgot to scan the first double page.
Absurd Narrative: Given the first and last line of two unrelated books and expected to path up the middle. I began with a sparrow and ended with a cemetery. Overall I am happy with the outcome but I do need to still improve on my composition and typography. The following scans are from ‘The Sparrow and the Butterfly’. It tells the tale of two friends who meet in a mental hospital on an adventure to fly. The end sees the female killing herself in the dream. Not the happiest of tales but I did what I could.
Scan of some recent work for a brief titled Absurd Narrative. The first sentence of one book, and the last of the other were selected then the ‘middle bit’ had to be illustrated.

I’m so rubbish at scanning in my work and uploading it. I managed to get an overall 2:2 for my first semester, I expected a fail so overwhelmed! Only started back on 23rd January and I already have 5 briefs, feeling snowed under to say the least.
Sorry I’m such a bad person to follow!
